Betts & Townsend initially undertook the role of Project Managers on this Ksh 3,000,000,000.00 commercial building on behalf of I&M Bank in Nairobi, and were subsequently awarded the turnkey fit-out to the value of Ksh 500,000,000.00 whereby all consultants and contractors were placed with B&T as head consultant and construction managers.
The building comprises of 7 floors and a roof level allowing 12,000 metres of lettable space.
The imported solar roof is the first of its kind in Kenya that harnesses solar power and acts as a roof covering. Specialist consultants were selected by Betts & Townsend in order to achieve this first time feat in Kenya.
